Dr. Sy is a cosmetic and general dentist from Aliso Viejo, CA. After receiving her undergraduate degree in psychobiology at UCLA, she pursued her doctorate of dental surgery in San Francisco at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. There, she graduated with honors, being inducted into the Tau Kappa Omega honor society and receiving numerous clinical awards for her work in cosmetic and implant dentistry.
She spent her early career practicing at two of the most respected prosthodontics and general dentistry practices in Newport Beach and Palm Desert, CA.
Recently, she had the privilege of taking over Dr. Kurt Schneider’s esteemed practice of more than 35 years in Mission Viejo, CA. Dr. Sy is dedicated to upholding the legacy of excellence that Dr. Schneider established while building upon the strong foundation he created to serve the community with compassionate, high-quality care.

THE CRAFT
Dr. Sy’s passion for cosmetic dentistry began in the early days of her career. She spent hours shaping teeth and studying tooth anatomy under the guidance of several prominent prosthodontists in the area. Being in a group prosthodontics practice with an in-house lab allowed her to build on her skillset and expand her knowledge of what was possible in dentistry.
You can oftentimes still find her tucked away in the laboratory shaping crowns, hand fabricating her own acrylic provisionals, and doing lab-work. Her goal is to make every restoration mimic natural anatomy as closely as possible.
